Summary: I'm on my 3rd one since Christmas and it's only May. It hasn't been damaged, I mount it on the dash out of the weather but, twice the battery has failed. It would get very hot while charging and then stop working. Replay's customer service has been good though, they replaced it both times but I have spent quite a bit on shipping the cameras back to them.
Summary: It's a good camera and it does a good quality video when you play with the settings a little bit. It shoots best during the day time obviously, but night filming can be questionable at times. Unless you have a really good light source, you won't get a full screen. The best way to up the quality during night time is to change the Auto Exposure to Spot instead of Center. At first I received a defective unit.
Summary: I bought this camera last week (9/20/13) for 4 uses: Mountain Biking Autocross (auto racing) Snowboarding Wakeboarding (once i get the water tight case, hopefully for X-mas) First impressions : "Man this thing is small" I've used GoPros before and this camera is much lighter, different shape but in my opinion a better one. First Use: I mounted the camera on my AutoX helmet using the included HDMI cable.
Summary: Let me preface this by saying, I own two GoPro cameras and hate them. Their shape was always a pain, the cases awkward to work with when I had leather gloves on and they would shut off if vibrated too much. As the GoPro cameras got older the cameras started to wear inside their cases. NOTE: The CAMERA wore down, not the case. This caused the camera to start to vibrate in its case. Probably not noticeable when mountain biking, etc. but on a race bike it was terrible.
Summary: I have owned a RePlayXD for over two years now. Here's what I've learned using it to record over 1,000 hours of video in various situations: PROS: 1) It's pretty much bulletproof. I've crashed right onto it riding motocross and while the case got scraped up, it kept working fine. Note I have not used it underwater. 2) The files are in .mov format, which I really like 3) I typically record in 720p/60fps. Using Quicktime player I can step through each frame of the video.
Summary: The replay xd 1080 is an awesome camera! The picture quality is amazing, it is very durable, and extremely easy to use. The sound quality sucks with the external mic. It pics up way to much wind. Inside a vehicle or out of the wind it is very good sound quality. I cant figure out how to download the video to youtube quickly. On the 1080 high def quality video, 3 minutes of recording took over six hours to upload.
Pretty sure ill not be testing mine it to find ...

Summary: The Camera it's self is worthy of 5 stars. What I think people need to be aware when they are buying this camera is this; It's branded as "waterproof to 3 meters/10 feet". Then in the manual it states in the warranty section" This product is water resistant but NOT waterproof" and is thus not covered to "submersion in water".
Summary: Bought for my son. He likes it. Cheaper than Hero. Good quality. There are knockoff versions of this. Read what you get very carefully. You will find that the video quality on this is far superior to a cheap clone. If you buy a Hero watch the specification. They vary tremendously. What can seem to be good value isn't because some models are very much cut down variations. The Replay was the best value for the best features at the time I bought it.
