Summary: Very unhappy with the video quality of this unit. It has tremendous compression artifacts, motion blur and other issues that I just never had with the GoPro. I was trying to come up with something smaller for hat mounting, but this one just doesn't cut it.
Summary: The audio has major clipping problems even at low volumes. Both the internal mic and external microphones exhibit this behavior. Plugging the same mic into a computer gives good quality sound (clipped to the same part of my shirt). I sent the manufacturer audio files from the unit. They agreed the unit's audio did not sound good. Sent it in for a RMA. The replacement camera's audio sounds worse. In addition, the power button on the replacement unit hardly works.

Summary: Don't bother. Very vibration sensitive (Jello), Dynamic range is poor, terrible auto exposure (very distinct changes dark, medium, light, light, medium, dark). Text file to change settings is retarded (and I'm a Unix guy), plus the changes don't take effect? Way more work than it's worth, I love the form factor, and FOV, but that's it. If you are use to a GoPro... you won't like it.

Summary: I spent quite a bit of time searching and comparing cameras to decide to go ahead and purchase the Replay XD based of some professional reviews and others. The camera arrived, turned it on, played around, turned off and then suddenly decided it wouldn't work anymore. Replay Tech support is worthless, blamed the sd card, which is the one they sent, refused to repair the camera. I returned it for a refund, and will not be buying another.
Summary: What a POS!!! I don't know where to start. I tested it with a quick test video then proceeded to update the firmware. All downhill from there. Absolutely ridiculous setup and firmware update. BTW, I'm not the guy who needlessly bashes products because they are not a good fit for me, but this thing sucks. -10 stars.
Summary: Everything looked good until i used it for the first time and when i had to charge it. The cam started to heat up and did not want to shut off on matter what i did. To make it short i called the manufacture like 15 times and they don't even answer the phones, so decided to let it rest in peace...

Summary: Do Not Purchase if you're interested in skiing or winter videos. I'm currently on my third XD1080 camera from Replay and this one is no better in cold conditions. Controls sometimes work, sometimes it will not turn on, and if it does, it will shut down at random times while filming in perfect snow conditions. Very disappointing. Customer service has not been great and they treat me with a lot of skepticism. Three cameras and still no satisfaction.
Summary: Awful video color quality out of the box - weird greens & blues, washed out. Can be adjusted I understand but the work seems tedious and time-consuming. But perhaps that's a feature certain people would like to fuss with. My MUVI HD 10 out of the box reproduces colors much more accurately than my RE-PLAY XD. I bought both. I recommend you read all the reviews for the MUVI and consider buying that one if out-of-the-box color reproduction quality is important to you.

But still the video quality is poor. I exhausted possible changes with advanced settings. My MUVI HD 10 out of the box reproduces colors much more accurately than my RE-PLAY XD. The MUVI HD 10 produces an unexpectedly high quality video for something so tiny, unlike the Re-Play XD.
