Summary: Camera doesn't work with Windows8 Only support for custom program called WiVideo, no other SW!!!! Camera (on Win7) doesn't work WebEx or Google Hangouts as an external camera. I was told the camera is plug and play so no drivers (i say plug and pray) Support is in India. Just honorable!! It took me a long time to finally get to the manager that knew the capabilities of the camera. I thought this was a good camera until you dig in and find out its limitation....
Summary: The Seller was great and got the product out right away, this review is about Polaroid and their customer service. I purchased the iD450 in white as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I thought that even though the white one cost more, it would be appreciated more than black. Once opened, we went through the instructions and set it up. Unfortunately after 20 minutes of use, it died, never to come back to life.
Summary: This camera looks great from the outside but it has some serious problems. The fist problem I had was with the back. It falls off all of the time and after 20 or 30 times doing so, the last time it was lost. Normally you'd contact the company and buy another. Polaroid never responded to any of my request and as a result, I have a backless ID450 and both the memory card and battery are hanging in the breeze. Problem number 2 is the touch screen. In a word, it sucks.
Summary: I found it impossible to get the SD card out of this camera to replace with a large Gig card. Otherwise I love the white color and design. However, I think the slick plastic might render this camera a potential "fall to the floor" candidate if you don't use the wrist cord.I sadly had to return because of the SD card problem.
Summary: I have only been trying it out a few days. I'm not finding the quality very good with low lighting. Did not want to use it for the holidays because was not happy with the few test photos and video I took. I am still testing the cam but so far not happy with it.
Summary: I got this to do a homespun Youtube project. While the video quality is better than I would have expected, and the wifi feature is a great idea, this little gadget is just hard to hold onto. There's no real handle, and you have to hold your fingers around the width of the device while recording. It does have a tripod screwhole at the bottom, which would have been a godsend if I had had my tripod with me the day I used the camera.
