Summary: As with any purchase of this magnitude, research is absolutely paramount to ensure you know what you're getting into. Read popular review sites, some of which have forums where you can ask questions and get opinions on your potential choices.
Pros: Let me preface this by stating that I am by no means a videophile. In good light, the camera produces excellent pictures, sharp and colorful (but not, IMO, oversaturated). In lower light at Standard Quality, there is some loss to sharpness. However, I believe this is fairly common at this price p...
Cons: We only used the included battery a few times in the beginning. I don't recall how long a charge lasted, though I don't beveli it was particularly impressive. We bought a $40 jump battery from an auto parts store and an inverter. This setup allows us to record an all day event using the fold-out ...
Summary: Comments about Panasonic Palmcorder VDR-D310 Digital Camcorder: I have a problem with the model VDR D310. My problem is that I can't transfer video films from the camera to the PC. The PC is running Window XP. After finalised the disc, I can't find the necessary files in the folder in question.
Pros: Comfortable to Operate, Great Picture Quality
Summary: If this camera, the vdr-d310, is anything like its brother, the vdr-300, then you should not buy this camera. For the money, it's a joke. The reason that I picked the vdr-300 is because it had an external mic input. And all it's been is trouble. I wasted a lot of money on this product.
Cons: Before you buy this product, you should think about how important ease of use is to you. I own the vdr-300 camera. The video files that are produced on the disc are not mpeg2 files. This is not a "take it out of the camera and pull up movies instantly on your computer" kinda thing. You have to co...
Panasonic VDR-D310: Well worth the cost and the wait

Summary: I've been searching for what, for me, would be a versatile, quality digital camcorder for over a year, both online and in various local stores. I have not owned a camcorder before (although I've used a friend's), devoting myself primarily to still photography with my Nikon D70.
Summary: This camera could not have been more disappointing! Although it is easy to use, the quality is dismal. Picture quality, especially of faces, are aweful. Forget getting any footage in low light, everyone looks like ghosts.
Summary: The picture quality for this camcorder is superb. I was very, very pleased with the product. It also does well under low light conditions and you can purchase a video dc light (cheap) to attach to the top of camcorder for low light and night shots.
Summary: Received this camcorder very quickly and as advertised. Had a special occasion for which I wanted to use the camcorder and was able to do so without reading any of the instructions including taping and playback - the operation and controls were pretty intuitive.
Summary: I've purchased this camcorder to improve my vedio recording from the miniDV camcorder (Panasonic 3CCD)but unfortunatily I got a very bad pics and vedio. I strongly recommend the miniDV Panasonic 3ccd and forget the DVD camcorders, the miniDV has a great vedio recording twith amazing colors and...
