Summary: Great product. Used it on a recent trip to NYC. Makes great videos.Compact size makes it easy to use and transport. Would recommend an additional battery to add flexibility to recording times.
Summary: I don't think I could have gotten a better value with any other product. The seller was great, the camera does just about everything, and it's easy to use. What's not to like? Haven't used it enough to be a good judge of battery life.

Summary: i love this video camera the quality is near high definition for an affordable price,im made the correct resolution at the time that made the purchase because the camera have all the functions that you need
Summary: As for its price, this camera is worthy to buy. 32x optical zoom, mega optical image stabilizer, superior picture quality and much more are pros of this camera. As for cons, it doesn't record video on SDHC card and still pictures with 640x480 resolution. I am satisfied with my purchase and as I think although this camera doesn't provide all of the features that you can find in today's more expensive cameras like HDD ones, but it worth for its price and it is a good...
Summary: I have a same problem with VDR D220. I contacted Panasonic support and they said that I must have a software Ulead to develope its file in order to play on a computer. Then you can burn files or clip to DVD disc to play as normal. Ulead software does not come with the package. You have to buy seperately.
Summary: Recording functionality is fine, quality is fine. But I have had huge battles transfering the files to my computer, so they can be viewed on the internet, and sent to friends. The files are in a VRO and IFO format. I have been able to get it to work somewhat by changing the VRO file to a MPG file. But it doesn't view properly if there are multiple clips in the file, unless I combine them all into one file on the camcorder first.
Excerpt: "...for a 15 year old Panasonic (which still works by the way) which weighs 10 times as much and is probably 10 times as big and uses the record onto videocassette method of storage! We waited quite a while before buying a new one mainly so the prices would come down so allowing us to buy a decently outfitted video cam. We have had this a few months now and are very pleased with it. We have just returned from a few days away (yes... we really did manage ...
