Summary: It was a gift for our son and daughter on law on the eve of the birth of their daughter! I used it while at hospital capturing moments such as when brother and sister first saw their new baby sister. Easy to operate. However, battery seems to discharge quickly. Have to make sure charger is handy. Another reason I didn't give 5 stars is when my son went to transfer videos off card onto laptop, it took him a very long time to get system set-up.
Summary: This little camera is pretty good. It gets a 4 star because I wished that it had a microphone port for adding an external mic for doing videos. The mic itself is okay but I truly wished I had one now that had the mic port. With that being said, the camera is a great addition to my bigger Canon 3 Chip bla bla bla.
Summary: The camera was shipped promptly and was just as described. I couldn't tell it was ever used except that the time and date had already been set. I didn't really research cameras as I just wanted one that would do a basic job of videoing. It is easy to use and has a great picture!
Summary: I ordered this item to give it as has gift. It is very light weight and has good image resolution. When photos and videos transferred to system the quality is i would say good (not excellent). Has the good Zoom and overall a good product with this price range.
Summary: This is a great little camcorder for the money. Does everything a weekend video taker would want and more. It's very light and small, easy to carry and pack. The controls are somewhat easy to use but it has one design flaw; which drive me crazy. It's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Flaw: you have to open the side screen panel to access all the controls to plug in cords and to turn power on and off. The power switch is particularly aggravating.
Summary: THESE ARE A FEW EARLY (NON TECH) IMPRESSIONS OF MY NEW CAMCORDER : IT IS FEATHER LIGHT AND FITS NICELY IN THE PALM OF THE HAND - GOOD FOR A HILL WALKER LIKE ME. THE VIDEO QUALITY IS EXCELLENT AND THE BUILD QUALITY SEEMS GOOD. A FEW NEGATIVES FOR ME ARE : AT THE LONGER ZOOM RANGES THE IMAGE GETS QUITE SHAKY. THE SCREEN IS DIFFICULT TO SEE IN BRIGHT LIGHT AND IT CAN BE TRICKY KEEPING THE CAMERA STEADY WHILE OPERATING THE ZOOM CONTROL.
Summary: Generally so-so. The only thing immediately apparent as a possible future problem is the record button. It is plastic and very flimsy and I suspect could break very easily with use. For a longer life battery I've purchased a decoded VBK 360 for less than £20 and by cutting off one of the plastic side lugs it's a perfect fit and will give me some 5 hours recording time. The supplied battery only gives 40minutes at best and is pretty useless.
