Summary: I know that the problem is lighting. But I wish that it had better lighting for indoor shots. My other issue is that I found it confusing at first when I was trying to record, and not realizing it was just "ready" and I hadn't started recording. Missed a lot of stuff before I caught on.
Summary: I've been using this camera for nearly two years now and I'm pretty satisfied with it. The one thing that lead me to buy Panasonic was that I had good low-light performance from a previous Panasonic camera and I was not disappointed by this one either.
Summary: I purchased this camcorder to video my teenagers soccer games. I could have bought an HD camcorder and I could have bought a newer model, but I chose this sd model because it was more economical and I just didn't think I needed all the bells and whistles of an HD camcorder.
Summary: THIS WAS SHIPPED VERY PROMPTLY AND ARRIVED IN ONE PEICE. THE CAMERA DOES A NICE JOB TAKES VERY CLEAR VIDEO AND PICTURES. IT IS SIMPLE TO USE AND IS VERY EASY TO SLIDE IN A PURSE IF YOU DONT FEEL LIKE CARRYING THE CASE (PURCHASED SEPERATELY). IT FITS IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND.
Summary: I bought this camera about 3 months ago so I wanted to do some testing before I posted a review. For under $200 not a bad camera at all. I do a lot of sports recordings so the 70X optical zoom really comes in handy. I turn off the digital zoom; its useless. 70X is more than enough for this camera.
Summary: The camera size is just amazing. Is very small and light weight. The zoom is superb, 70x optical give will blow you out. Pros: Size Zoom Record to SD Direct record in MOD format (MOD is a MPG file, you only need to rename the files). You can play MOD with NERO and VLC Player without issues.
Summary: OIA: Good Webmode: Great, but restarts with a new 10min snippet everytime you pause and resume 70X Zoom: Great upto 30X zoom and the image starts to wobble as you record. This problem might be resolved with a tripod but I am unsure about it. Price: Affordable. Size: Handy and easy to carry along.
