Camera works as expected

Timothy F. Frey, Amazon
17 August 2011
  • Summary: I expected it to only have low quality images. It didn't come with software and so I gave that one star. but the camera works great with windows 7. I copy the video file to my computer and then I can either open them in adobe premier, or just simply change the file extension from ".DOM" to ".MPG".

Camcorders

Zoe's Daughter, Amazon
8 October 2009
  • Summary: We bought this camcorder to take on vacation with us last year. We've also used it to tape our grandon's hockey game and family Christmases. I'm surprised at the ease of learning to use it. I really enjoy the charger which came with it; we can charge it up in a few hours and go film again.

Perfect for every event

John F., Newegg
25 January 2009
  • Summary: For battery though you can buy others from them that last longer from the one it came with to a 7hr 10min. The battery life and not being able charge when recording will being pluged into the wall is the only problems I see so far but buy another batt and problem solved.
  • Pros: The optical zoom works so good. Controls are so easy to use. There are only a couple buttons on it so not a lot to learn how to use. The count down clock to let you now how much you have left to use in the hard drive is very nice. Also it does that with the SDHC which with an 40gb hard giveing yo...
  • Cons: The battery that comes with it has a short battery life it only lasts 50min and then it has to be charged and that takes more time 1hr 35min. When useing the AC cable to connect to the wall to keep recording you can not charge the battery because that is that is the cable that charges the battery.

Good value.

J. Michael "Mike K", Amazon
12 January 2009
  • Summary: This is exactly what I was looking for. I read several of the reviews prior to purchasing and had some concerns that the video may not be of very good quality and the drawbacks with the software that comes with it. I used it for the first time out of the box.

Its got some cons but still a 5 star

Erik831, Amazon
7 January 2009
  • Summary: Good all around camera for what you paid for it. Still shots are kinda useless but then why would by a camcorder to take still shots. Only other cons are that the clips that you save on ur cpu save as .MOD which are not recognized by DVD burner/editor. But that can be easily changed [...].
