Summary: I was so excited to get the camera. I had a lot of work I needed to do with it. I got all my equipment set up, then was so disappointed that the sound in the camera didn't work. I sent it back and got a refund. I would hope the vendors would make sure their products worked before they sent them.
Summary: Works great. VERY Happy and satisfied. Just what I needed. Fast and prompt service. I bought this product because i already have 2 of them for school use. He didn't have a battery, but i already have 3 batteries for the 2 I already own. I need this exact model so i don't have to buy new batteries.
Summary: My first experience with the Panasonic was good. It taped well and when I proceeded to make a DVD, I noticed the sound started cutting out periodically. So I took the tape and put it in another camcorder I purchased on ebay and the tape worked fine and I got my DVD made successfully. The second time the camcorder was used, it taped well (picture was clear) but there was no audio.
Summary: The Panasonic PV-GS9 is very compact and easy to use. I bought it to replace an older version. It uses the same battery and connections as my older recorder. The battery life gives you well over 60 minutes on recording time. The connections for the PC and firewire and a little difficult to get to but overall a great recorder for the price.
Summary: I am use to the expensive sony vx2000 i have and this camera does not have as many features but is still a great mini dv camcorder. I was sad to realize that this was going to be my capture camera and I wish I had bought it a long time ago. I will deffinitly use it for some second angles!
Summary: I loved that this was easy to use, I am a begginner and it is very simple to use its light weight and small so it will fit in your purse or bag and youwont miss a minute to set up anything has a place if you have a tripod to minimize shaking great picture as well
Summary: I love this Camcorder. It is lightweight and easy to use. It has good clear pictures and sound. It even picks up birds sounds from the background. It is also easy to hook up to your TV so you can view what pictures you have taken and even make copies on a VHS/DVD player so you can share your trip or event with others as gifts.
Summary: beware of the low price, panasonic has managed to make the price so low ($350) because they don't give you any software for the computer (to transfer or to edit), and no cables for the computer. I can't believe they would neglet to put them in the box. Your better of with PVGS 15 as it comes with the software and a USB cable, the price is $500, but the software, cable, and still picture on sd make up the $150 price difference.
