Summary: We were in NZ last year (Xmas 2011) and grabbed another SD card camera which was sub-par and did not work well. So back to the store we went and grabbed this beauty. It has been flawless..used at the beach, in the water, on a 10 day rafting trip recently down the Green to the Colorado river..
Summary: So all and all I like the Panasonic HX-WA10K, it offers a wide range of options and shoots good quality, however auto HDMI always outputs 1080i even if video is 720P and the menu's can be frustrating mainly because the controls are stationary where the viewfinder can rotate meaning you sometimes...

Summary: I was really excited to get this camera, but it turned out to be a dud. My complaints are: * It takes a long time to start up - which means that I missed a lot of action shots * The image quality is poor, with way too much contrast. (My 8-year old Canon PowerShot takes better pictures.

Summary: I've been hoping for a 1080P, waterproof camcorder for a long while. I grabbed this one as soon as it hit the market (actually, a few weeks before by ordering it from Hong Kong), and I am very happy with it.
