Summary: this camera is alittle bit bad to the fact that it takes 4-5 hours to charge. if ur looking for a camera that isnt battery powered then this might be urs. but the camcorder films for about 2hours on the memory card and it has 3 special effects but its light has little power and works only ok. this camera has easy controls though and most of the time it can stay charged for like 3 hrs.
Summary: I loved this little guy until it stopped working COMPLETELY and would not charge anymore. I only had it six weeks! I contacted Amazon, they said it was just past the date that I could send it back to them. I called Panasonic, and after waiting a week for a rep to call me back, I called them, sat on hold for 20 more minutes and they told be to mail it to them.
Summary: I picked up this camcorder on the recommendation of a a web article entitled "The Flip is Dead". There was a list of other camcorder options and I thought the Panasonic TA1 one would fit the bill perfectly. The picture quality is very good, the aesthetic is pleasing, but the quality of the sound is VERY POOR. I use these devices professionally and regret not having bought another Flip Camera (my previous one had broken).
Summary: Whatever you do, do NOT buy this camera it is quite literaly TERRIBLE. Yeah sure it may be HD, but in all truth, that doesnt matter. It may have fairly good quility filming, but it can only download its videos on one programme that is absolutly dreadful. It has no way to move your photos/videos to other places on your computer, and has very little editing software at all!
Summary: Since purchasing this at the end of April I have yet to get it to work. I have e mailed the sellers but no reply. I have charged the battery and bought a sim card for it and it will just not turn on, does anyone with the same camcorder have any suggestions. I am about to pack it up and send it back.
Summary: its handy product but the quality speaks itself in the price. u get what u pay. i would recommend to save little more money and buy a high end real hd camcorder. another thing- digital zoom degrades quality like hell. overall not a recommended product to buy. my canon 550d records much better video.
Summary: It could be good - it is so-oo simple to use BUT,I was going on holiday with a netbook and 1. It would not charge from my netbook and 2. It would not download integral software to my netbook. Hello! you are going on holiday - what are you going to take a laptop or a netbook? So Panasonic have created a portable video whose content is not portable to a netbook!! I emailed them twice still awaiting a reply. Don't buy for a netbook, it doesn't work.
Summary: This product has too many flaws to recommend it: - picture quality in bright light is fine, but in low light it's poor; - the plastic cover for the battery & SD compartments is not only very flimsy, but does not close securely enough, meaning that it comes open in use. This happened with my both original purchase and a replacement, so I can only assume it's a design problem. - it charges only through a powered USB port on a PC.
Summary: When i first came across this product i thought it looked it great..Read all the info on it and examined all the specs and thought this is to good to be true especially for the low price....I have quite a lot of panasonic equipment and i have never been let down before, until now...... Everything about this little camcorder is great apart from the fact that you can only record 30 mins of footage before the unit swithces itself off! What!!!
