The HDC-TM300 is a 32 GB HDD hi-definition camcorder from Panasonic that features touch screen interfaces. It has memory expandability via SD/SDHC memory cards. It also features Leica Dicomer lens with 43 mm filter diameter and manual lends ring that governs multiple image controls. This unit allows users to capture 10-megapixel still images. It has Optical Image Stabilization that self corrects the image at 4000 times per second. It features Intelligent Auto (iA) mode that allows users to shoot a specific scene mode or let the camcorder choose one. The unit also features Auto Focus that can track a subject anywhere on the screen and allows them to touch a portion of the screen they want focused.

  • NTSC vs PAL

    A mug's question but but her goes anyway... All the TM300's Ive seen advertised are NTSC. Australia uses PAL. Should this be a concern for me or not? Thanks in advance Gandalph ( Grey but not necessarily wise..)

  • Does it have an optical viewfinder?

    YES, it has an EVF - Electronlc Viewfinder. I tried a similar featured Canon HD/SD camcorder which had no EVF ... I found it to be unuseable ... maybe just mu lack of skill, but I couldn't see anything when trying to shoot in the daylight. The TMC-300 is perfect

    I like the look of the TM300 but am wondering about editing. Can this format - MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 - be edited like DV on programmes like Edit Studio? Roloat.
