Summary: I think I have normal hands but they just don't seem to get along with this unit. Especially if concentrating on the scene and subject. Inherently, my fingers expect to fall on the most-used buttons: start/stop and zoom in/out. Nope. The zooms are there along with a button to take a still photograph [which should be better done in post-processing, I think]. The start/stop takes a thumb move which for me jars the camera and puts trash at the end of each session.
Summary: I have really enjoyed this camera. It's light, easy to use and takes good videos. The problem I have is with the HD Writer AE 1.5 that comes with the camera. In short - I can't burn a disc and Panasonic hasn't been able to help me with any offer of improved software. They say there might be some compatibility issues with Dell - whatever. This is a real issue and a big problem.
Summary: I purchased this product to take videos of my newborn daughter. Hence, I used this camcorder mostly for taking videos in my house (in January, so not in bright sunlight). I was very disappointed by the video quality. A video I took in my back garden during a sunny day was fantastic, so if you need this camcorder mostly for holiday videos in good light conditions it is very good. Good handling, nice features, I was otherwise very pleased.
