Summary: I have had this camera for a couple of years now and I am very pleased with it. It fits into a largish bum bag, takes excellent HD pictures and video. I purchased it because it still has the option of using the eyepiece rather than the screen for observing what you are recording, much better in my opinion.
Summary: This is my 4th and without doubt the best video camera I have owned. Easy to operate brimming with features and quite honestly, if you can't get a decent video with this bit of kit give up now. Shoots really well in all lighting conditions is easy to hold and reach all the buttons. The still shots from the camera have to be seen to be believed, I have a number of expensive digital still cameras and this blows them all away. Amazing piece of equipment!
Summary: Wonderful semi-pro video camera. Only slight downside is the auto white balance seem to have to think about it for a few second at the start of every shot so there's a noticeable colour shift during the clip. Set it on manual for best results.
Summary: I purchased this Item in January 2012 and since then it has had extensive use. Video & picture quality is excellent. Ease of use is OK with a little practice and I particularly like the camcorders ability to do timelapse video. Where it tends to fall down slightly is its ability to autofocus accurately everytime.
Summary: Bought this camera following some excellent reviews on the web. Not just a few from Amazon but all over and the end result was I bought one and I think it gives excellent results sometimes. My last camera was getting on for 15 years old so when I received this model the differences were huge. The picture quality is fantastic. Unfortunately then the problems begin!
Summary: My Sony Z1 cost four thousand pounds and the Sony Z1 is the same size of a rather large shoe box. This Panasonic SD900 costs less then seven hundred pounds and it fits into a coat pocket. It is much smaller than a Sony Z1 and the Panasonic sd900 is a better camcorder than the Sony Z1 ( Z1 was released in 2006/2007). The picture quality in the Panasonic is a choice between 1080P and 1080i. The quality of 1080P is fantastic.
Summary: I already had one of these, so I knew it'd be good. I got a second just in case the first should go wrong. This has everything - good big sensors, a viewfinder (helps stability), terrific image stabilisation, fast and useful menus. Recommend it to anyone could afford it!
