Summary: Top cons: sub-par still pictures(can't compare to D-SLR), not easy to shoot (open the panel first). I would not recommend this to friends - bought this as a gift, and they used it only occasionally. For what it is priced (bought at $550, now probably still $300), doesn't worth it at all!
Summary: Regular quality camcorder. It makes average quality pictures and video, but for the price they sold it meets these expectations. The only complain I have is it does not come with any memory card, and it is absolutely required.

Summary: From a technical viewpoint the HDC-SD90 offers an as expected good quality HD picture for the price bracket. Yes, it helps if you have small fingures when selecting items on the touch screen, but then the camera is small so what do you expect? The biggest drawback is the Battery.
