Summary: This camera shoots great quality video but the one caveat is the battery life. It lasts at most 1hr of video shooting despite saying 1hr 46mins on the display itself. There have also been times when the battery has been drained while the device itself is turned off. However, that may just be the fact that I had it stored near a speaker and the magnetic field drained it over time.
Summary: This is one powerhouse of a camcorder for something that weighs half a pound and is smaller than a soda can. It records full 1920x1080 video, with an image so good outdoors it holds up to footage from my Panasonic HDC40 pro camera. Indoors, of course, it's not as good as a pro camera, but it's one of the best images from a single chip camcorder I have seen.
Summary: Works great for my primary use, which is video-ing school concerts and gymnastics meets. These are often in low light and you cannot get close. The zoom and low light ability of the camera do a good job. Very light and compact. Con- have to use their software to read the recordings; had trouble installing their software for months (error "need to install .Net 4.0...", which was installed). Would be 5* except for this.
Summary: I had a very expensive full hd camcorder from 2008. This one Is smaller Has better wide angle 60p (vs. 60i) better battery life Better image stabilization and way better low light quality I love this thing!
Great camcorder, cheap, it has many features and it's easy to use.

Summary: I use this camcorder mainly for plane spotting, recording flights and for various other occasions, and it performs perfectly in all kinds of lighting. The video quality is SPECTACULAR and it's very easy to use. The image stabiliser is fantastic and works really well. Battery life is quite good, but the pictures have disappointed me a bit, as they are not crisp. The price is quite good for this camcorder and I think it is the best in its price range.
Summary: Top cons: sub-par still pictures(can't compare to D-SLR), not easy to shoot (open the panel first). I would not recommend this to friends - bought this as a gift, and they used it only occasionally. For what it is priced (bought at $550, now probably still $300), doesn't worth it at all!
