Summary: Great camera. Only thing I do not like about it is you can't record with the LCD closed. You also can't turn the LCD off. I sometimes leave the camera in one spot, and would like to press the button of my remote to record with the screen closed, since I am not looking at the screen, and it is on a tripod, it just wastes battery.

Summary: Everything was great about this camcorder till today: I powered it on, and everything was blurry. I checked that the focus mode was on automatic, I checked that the tele macro was disabled... nothing. The autofocus mode is blocked in what seems to be the telemacro mode. I went through every possible settings on the camcorder, nothing. I then turned it off, turned it back on and AF was back to normal.
Really awesome camera !! Check out my youtube for test videos :)

Summary: I love this camera to death, one of the main features I love is time lapse !! Good night shooting capability, easy file transfer because of sd card. Good zoom and awesome stability software. If you want to see videos I took with this check out my youtube [...] I had this for a year now and its still runs amazing. Update: Its been 2 years now and still runs like a champ !! For the people who cannot play the videos on their computers, its not the camera's fault.
Summary: After reading one comment from others that this panasonic camcorder was delivered as an opened box, I was afraid the same thing would happen to me as the price at $299 is just amazingly cheap. Fortunately, Amazon did a great job and i received the product in one good excellent condition. Thanks Amazon! After fiddling the camera, the software, i find it relatively easy to use. The fan noise is not noticeable for my camcorder but sure it is running well.
Summary: This product has surpassed all of my expectations. When connected directly to my 50" Panasonic the picture quality is beyond belief. The professional reviews that have said "broadcast quality" are indeed an accurate description of the amazing picture. The features are just as remarkable, I would & do highly recommend this product - it was a steal at 299.
Summary: Produces nice quality video, still experimenting with the various modes. Best part is the the optics, the lens is wonderful, crispy clear video in low light. The 3 sensors are excellence, outstanding color rendition. Less than half the price of the similar US model, glad that I picked up one before its gone.
Summary: We purchased this camera before a family vacation in February. It is small, lightweight and fits even better in the hands than the much touted TM700. The camera is pretty easy to use, but definitely a read of the owners manual was a big help! The LCD is not a big as on some newer cameras, but was big enough to check videos on playback, and the LCD image quality is sharp and bright.
Summary: I upgraded from an earlier Panasonic VidCam to the HDC-SD600K. Thus far, have found the camera intuitive to use and the video quality a significant upgrade to my standard definition Pana SDR-S26. More on actual experience using it as I do more filming with it. I elected to not even load the Panasonic software given all the poor reviews for same and went straight to Sony Vegas for my editing.
Summary: This HDC-sd600 is a great little camera. It has the same exact internals as the HDC-tm700, Panasonic's flagship model. It only lacks the viewfinder and the manual focus ring. I didn't need those features and for $357 it is an amazing value. Grab one before they sell out.
Summary: Image quality is excellent. manual functions are controlled easily with the touch screen. good quality in low light. very comfortable to use. Photos taken simultaneously with video are good. No other camera in this price with 3MOS the famous fan noise is heard only in quiet situations, is not a problem for me I think is the better buy if you dont want to spend much money
