Summary: As others have mentioned this is an Amazon exclusive and could be considered a "baby TM700K." It does lack the manual features and accessory shoe. It is also NTSC and does 60P (to answer someone's question).
Summary: There's a little learning curve to learning how to navigate the menus and what the icons mean to get the settings for what you are filming right on the fly, overall I think the video looks great, especially in-doors. Zoom is great.
Summary: I have owned a Sony DCR DVD403 camera for years and done many video editing projects over the years. You can say I am an experienced user, but I like to keep things simple. The DVD technology is good and very usable but technology has moved on, HD is in and there is a very clear difference in image...
Summary: I am please with it overall, it fits nicely into a coat/trouser pocket. The disk that comes with it takes some getting used to and downloading video files takes a time as they have to be converter first. Best done via camera which cut down transfer time.
Pros: excellent video quality for me TV standard
Cons: connecting to external DVD writer which has to be mains powered, hard to find
Summary: We recently took this on holiday with us. The quality of the images is very good, particularly in 1080p. The only problem is that they intend you to playback on the camcorder as the files are generally not recognised on other devices. That is a problem if you intend to edit etc.
Summary: Great camera and nice small size. Wonderful clear full HD results, but the output is not always compatible with all software and computers so I would probably say to go for something else. I wish I had.
Summary: This is another fine camcorder from Panasonic. Excellent build quality, easy to use etc. BUT sadly let down by the TERRIBLE software included with it...HD Writer AE 2.1. For instance..and forgive me if I am doing something wrong..
