Summary: I truly love this camcorder. It takes very good video as well as very good still shots. It is compact and generally easy to use. Like any sophisticated camcorder there is a learning curve in order to obtain the best quality video or stills given the lighting conditions. For the most part I use the automatic setting but am starting to experiment with manual settings. For most people though you can just pick this up an shoot and get very good results.
Summary: I love this camcorder! Have used it for almost 2 years now. The clarity and zoom is great when recording my family, friends, and kids. The night shots are also very clear, not fuzzy at all like my old camera. The size is also small, compact, and lightweight and easy to carry around stuffed in my purse or cargo pockets! Love, love, love!!!
Summary: There might be other cameras out there that work as well, but this one is "perfect". I've filmed countless scenes, trips, weddings, and everybody who watches my short movies always compliment how clear the picture is. It's never let me down. The 1500x digital zoom is simply amazing and I've had fun with it zooming in on distant buildings, objects and people. I've even stopped using my telescope to observe the moon...
Summary: Chose this as it was one of the top bargain HD camcorders reviewed by Cnet, and it is true to the review. pro: great video quality, easy to use, decent battery life, transfer to DVD/computer with its software is a breeze con: could be a little smaller
Summary: We bought this videocamera in preparation for the arrival of our first baby. We love it. The picture quality is amazing, so crisp and clear. It's very easy to use once you scan through the instructions. And we love the touch screen. My husband and I look forward to recording all of our baby's firsts.
Summary: I am so impressed with this little camcorder, compared to anything else I've used in this price range, that I felt compelled to write a rather thorough review. What I was looking for in a camcorder: Size - I didn't need it to fit in my pants pocket, but I wanted it to easily fit in a coat pocket, which it does. Quality of parts - i.e.
Summary: Very satisfied with this camera. It's incredibly light and easy to use. But what astonished me most was its image stabilization device. I have been making movies for many years and have heard a lot about images stabilization devices in camcorders, and honestly so far I had not find one really good. But the one in this camera really makes all the difference.
Summary: I just received my Panasonic HDC-SD60K a couple of days ago. Although I have not shot any video with it yet, I have gone through an entire battery charge (almost two hours) just reading through the operators manual and playing with all of the settings as I go through the manual. The manual is comparably easy to understand, and the touch screen menus are easy to follow and operate.
Summary: I've done a pretty good amount of research on budget hi-def camcorders between $400 and $500 dollars. In my opinion, this is the best camcorder in this price range. I would highly recommend this camcorder to anyone looking to just film family gatherings, vacations, or for filming budget movies. The camcorder has an attractive design, fits in your palm, and is the perfect weight.
