Summary: It was 2013 when I bought this camera so it's pretty much obsolete, however I was a new video student at the time and needed something to learn and practice on that was relatively inexpensive.
Summary: This is my first digital camcorder purchase. I was lucky enough to get it at a huge discount when Circuit City (sorry amazon) was closing its doors. After using it on a road trip: outdoors, indoors, in a moving car, in a cave - I would have gladly paid full price.
Summary: This arrived just in time to take to a Robotic Competition our son was in with a team from school. We had one day to learn how to use it. That was no problem, as this camera was easy to use. It has a lot of functions, but it also recommends which to use, and how to.
Summary: Bought this camera when it was freshly on the market. Took something of a punt with it, but on paper it looked to be what I needed. My need was a device that could reliably capture the arrival of my 1st child. After having used it for over a year, I can honestly say that it hasn't let me down once.
Summary: Easy to use to record pictures or video. Video of high quality even if converted to MPEG 2 format. Only concern is that the free editing software included is not real user friendly, but a free trial of a more advanced software is included...
Summary: HI purchased this camera, great picture quality when light is good, also you need to move it slowly. AVCHD editing software needs to be purchased separately, overall all a lot of bang for the buck
Summary: This has one of the best picture qualities ever with the three CCD's on it. I love using it and have recorded numerous shots just with the one 60 Gig hard drive on it even though you can add a memory chip to it. The battery last a long time as well.
Summary: I researched many HD video cameras and was very happy with this one! I wanted the latest technology and a great picture. The picture quality is fantastic! Just make sure to use the image stabilizer or the video may be a little shaky.
