Excerpt: i work in the music business and the HC-X920 is the best tool i have. i can record the show every night from a large distance and still capture in HD every single detail with clarity and quality. couldn't be more happier.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Zoom range/performance
Excerpt: The quality of video results compared with much more expensive equipment so is quite good. I compared it to a Sony AX100 in HD mode and it stands up well. The 5 channnel surround sound is a little thin and subject to wind so I added a Rode Video Mike Pro to be able to pick out voices in noisy surroundings. The stubby VMP was really the only choice given the strange mount at the very front of the camera that puts boom microphones right in the line of view of the lens!
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Large Clear LCD
Excerpt: I love this camera, but no matter how good it is, it does not even come close to yielding professional quality. The lens has soft focus and the video is noisy to the naked eye when viewed on a 46-inch monitor. (To be fair, I have a very high standard.) Although it has a manual focus ring, more than 360 degrees of rotation are required to rack focus significantly; focus and zoom funtions are not available simultaneously.
Pros: Easy to handle, Good Focus, Good Image Stabilization, Long recording time, Pretty good video quality
Cons: Focus Ring Inconvenient, Lens Too Soft, Video Too Noisy
