Summary: excellent camera, as well as quick and prompt delivery from order in my post office 7 days.easy instructions to convert from Japanese to English.I've had the camera for a week now, I can find nothing wrong with it and everytime I use it I find it great to use.
Summary: The camera works very well. Using it for side jobs. Small and easy to use. I have connected an external mike to make interviews a snap. I purchased with a package which made it easy to get started.
Excerpt: It was not obvious from the product descriptions, and no one else mentioned it, that this camera will only upload to iMovie in a mode called iFrame. iFrame disables all creative options. You can only shoot straight video with no effects, not even time lapsed or B&W. It seems like a decent camera other than that. The touch screen has a great picture and the extendable viewfinder is nice with a great picture as well.
Pros: Large Clear LCD, Zoom range/performance
Cons: Iframe Mode Very Limited, Only 1 Sd Card Slot
Summary: I bought this camcorder to record videos of my first child. The camcorder itself is decent. I would rate it as a 7.5/10. The video quality really impressed me. But the menus and available features really left something to be desired. Also, it has certain quirky features that are somewhat of an annoyance. For example, the "Film Mode" records at 25p instead of the traditional 24p. Also when you flip the display forward, you can't change any of the settings.
Excerpt: I have had the x920 for over a year now and I consider it the best bargain of any camcorder I've ever owned. And, that stable has included dozens of cameras, mostly Sony, from under $ to over $ during more than 40 years of shooting video professionally and personally. The image, in low light, is amazing and rivals my 1/3" chip Sony non-HD 3-chip camera which cost 3 times as much.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great depth of field, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Large Clear LCD, Viewfinder, Zoom range/performance
Summary: We have only used this for about 2 hours of video, but the results are very good. This is a pro-sumer camera with extensive manual settings. The white-balance is absolutely necessary and works as expected. Controls are easy to use, although I wish that I could control both the focus and zoom though separate rings rather than the single, multi-purpose ring. The tablet control app is almost there. It is a very good idea, but not quite what you need in remote controls.
Excerpt: What I really like about the camera is the 3 cmos sensor. Great color and crisp images. This camera is simple to use and the o.i.s is really great for handheld. I like the 5.1 surround sound, I think its a lot better than most built in mics, but plugging in a microphone always works better. Low light, eh. Its good but you get some noise. I am really disappointed in the video format options, you can only shoot at 60p/i.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Zoom range/performance
