Summary: So far I have not used this a whole lot, but am impressed as I was with the TM900. I will try to update this if I have problems. I rarely give anything 5 stars. I have been doing photo/video for over 40 years and the Panasonic TM900 although not perfect (white balance and mic noise 2 issues but with workarounds) is a small camcorder and the video it can produce if used properly can rival much larger and more expensive cameras (like some that are 3-4 times as much money).
Summary: The video recording has the best quality to meet my expectations and also it was in my budget range. Battery life last me about 3hrs. Buy an extra battery Video screen is the perfect size. No buttons around the sides so it's all touch screen.
Summary: I upgraded from the Canon Vixia HF S200, and I am extremely happy! I have mostly used it for snowboarding videos so far, but will update the review when I use it for other purposes this summer. The main reason I got rid of the HF S200 is because I couldn't find a setting on the camera that worked good in the lighting conditions for snowboarding and I couldn't find a setting that could keep up with the fast motion.
Summary: This video camera out performs them all. The 3 sensors record vivid, jump-off-the-screen videos even in low light settings. I use this mostly in small venues/clubs to record performers and bands. The quality is spectacular. Buy this camera. It is well worth the price.
Summary: After losing my Canon camera on our holiday I was looking for a new high def. 60P version. The video quality is absolutely amazing and stabilisation when walking is very great as well. I have to admit, i haven't tried taking pictures yet, but that's because I have a good Olympus camera for that. In the beginning I read a lot about the sound quality which wouldn't be all that, and the first few shots I thought it sounded pretty hollow.
Summary: I have to say that this is one of the best camcorders I have ever used in my life. The video quality is stunning and the low-light performance is extraordinary. I have to say that the three sensors this camera comes equipped with give it a huge advantage over other camcorders in the market right now. I don't know why so many people gave low ratings for this product .. to me it is excellent.
Summary: It's a great deal of US$699 for such a good performance Full-HD camcorder. I use it for a few times and really like it. Will recommend it to my friends. The only problem is that the 1-year warranty just valid in USA.
Summary: An excellent camcorder. Next step up would be to spend $2K on a semi-professional camera which was not in the budget. If you are looking to get the same results of a professional videotaping this would be an ideal choice. I've not spent too much time with it yet, but from the first test runs I had with it so far it performs up to the challenge and the picture quality looks fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone serious about video.
