Summary: I love this camcorder for trips because it's very small and lightweight. Performance it super good for the size I recommend this camcorder to travelers and people wanting a high quality 1080/60p format.
Summary: I've had this camcorder for about 6 months and taken mostly 1080p videos of my son at his swim meets. It is excellent for my son to see his problems with the 1080p, 60 fps (I can see the scoreboard change - 6 frames per 0.1 sec). Low light is so so. But probably still better than others. But still images are not as sharp as my 7 year old 6meg camera even though these files are so much bigger. The weakness of the product is the optical lens.
Summary: I purchased this camcorder in August 2012 as a replacement for an older Sony camcorder that used HD tapes. However, it is only between mid May and mid June 2013 that I used the Panasonic X900 to any great extent. My main intent on a camcorder was to have one that included an electronic view finder like my older Sony had. After using the Panasonic for a month of travels in Europe, I must admit that I didn't use the EVF at all.
Summary: I buy this produc because it have a great value. I like the picture quality, the contexture, i dislike the sound quality! Is a good question but i think that this product it doesnt have comparation to others. The value of the product is very and if you buy another lens you can film in 3d!. Is a great product and small that is important. And the seller that i bought it, he was excellent!.
Summary: While I like the camera, I was disappointed to find that the camera was not brand new when I received it. The battery was fully charged and someone had done a complete set up on the camera's menus. I don't think Amazon should be selling this as a new item when it was a customer return or whatever. As for the camcorder itself, I find that for the nature of the videos I take, the new wider angle lens does not give me the same result that my trusty TM700 did.
Summary: In good lighting, the 60p image quality of this camcorder is simply stunning. The crisp image detail is on the level of some professional camcorders costing ten times as much. Even at the lower quality video settings (for more time on an SD card), the video is still very good, but nothing compares with the stunning resolution in the 60p mode. The camera records to internal memory or an SD card, and can be copied from one to another inside the camera.
Summary: I bought this camera just before christmas, so I used it during the holidays, especially for recording special moments with my newborn. I decided to buy an ntsc one as it has a higher framerate than pal, helpful in panning. Pros: I have to say that while video quality is excellent, photo quality is just a step down, but only a little bit. Recording in low light is also very good, only at very dark environment you cannot use the camera.
Summary: good stuff. works just like the other two cameras ive bought from panasonic. it takes more battery life and storage space but that shows its working harder than my other two cameras for quality
Panasonic X900MK 3MOS 3D Full HD SD Camcorder with 32GB
Karl Werner, Amazon
23 December 2012
Summary: This, more expensive, way better camera met my expectations easily because of its grandness but sadly it's now in the 'black hole' of Christmas Warranty evaluation in Texas because a large, slightly dark area formed in the upper left sky area due to some sort of 'burn?' - which never happened to my other 2, single chip - better zoom - Panasonic video cameras. Such is life... The "Very pail" burn area just didn't look so good in the 'sky' area...
Summary: I've been testing out this camcorder for several days now and I am impressed. Video quality is excellent as well as the still photos. Night time shooting is amazing as well. The added 32GB internal memory is a big plus! The 3.5" LCD screen makes recording under sunny skies very easy. The view finder is also very handy, but when shooting video through the view finder, it can be a little laggy even though the video is shooting smoothly.
