Excerpt: it is a great mix of a professional camera in the smaller and lighter size. It is light weight enough to get down low and up high with shots. It is big enough to have a shoulder mount. I like it and the picture quality is great. I have been with P2 for a while now so I have a bunch of the expensive cards. That is one thing I don't like about it but at least now they have the adapter for the SD cards. That helped me stay with P2.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality
Excerpt: We use three 370s for our live productions. They work great indoors and even outdoors. The P2 card workflow is great when we shoot our field projects. Overall, great camera. The only issue we run into is that all 3 do not match up, we find ourselves tweeking the video signal in our TriCaster to get all of them to look the same.
Pros: Easy to Use, Great Picture Quality, Large Clear LCD
Excerpt: I do documentary and community TV work. For me its a versatile camera that can adapt to the job I need to do. The shoulder cam format is perfect. Not too heavy and well balanced. The AVC-Intra codec is superb and easy to work with. Don't forget, this camera is accepted by National Geographic so that tells you about the image quality it can deliver.
Pros: Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Large Clear LCD, Zoom range/performance
Excerpt: I own the HPX 255 and the 370 - both are incredible. The 255 rides great on my Steadicam pilot and the 370 has a bayonet lens for Front of House long range. Lots of features for the user buttons: y-get, waveform monitor, vectorscope are my favorites. I shoot mostly live entertainment events, the two work great together. AVC Intra 100 codec is killer, and hot swappable P2 cards are the most reliable media I've ever used with tons of cool peripherals.
Pros: Great Picture Quality, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Zoom range/performance
Excerpt: The camera came in about 4 boxes, very well packed,no problems with shipping. The HPX 370 is a good camera for capturing run and gun type video, however I gave it only 4 stars because of 1/3 chips, and the lens. If you want a camera that gives you depth of field, forget this one. For the production I do which is mainly corporate and training videos this camera works well.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Great Zoom, Zoom range/performance
Excerpt: I bought this as a full featured/sized alternative to the HPX 250. I am very pleased with this purchase!! The manual controls of the lens are smooth and a pleasure to use. (but the lens is not really wide enough for Doc shooting. I ordered the 16 x 9 Inc wide angle adaptor). The camera is VERY power efficient.
Pros: Easy to add accessories, Easy to Use, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound
Excerpt: I bought this camera because I wanted to improve the look of my company on all products we offer. When he arrived I liked its shape, size and how well you see. I've been recording for more than 6 months with this camera and all I can say is it's awesome and brilliant. In the company we have several P2 cameras but this camera has been the best investment I ever made. I do not need to record as much light the lens is very light without damaging the quality of the video.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Zoom range/performance
