Summary: Everything has its little quirks and can use some improvement to meet individual needs. I'm happy with this although I'm no completely familiar with all it can do. The audio I like especially as a Drummer. You can really hear the tones. The video to me is an added bonus which is just great. I would recommend this to other musicians.
Summary: BUYER BEWARE! The product is a Japanese product that utilizes Japanese language for its functions. Furthermore, the owner's manual is in Japanese. The seller (J Star Mart)fails to disclose these facts, although a competitor who sells the same product $60 or more less DOES at least disclose the owner's manual is in Japanese.
Summary: Bought this over a year ago, and although I've not thoroughly "wrung it out" for testing, I've discovered some positive and negatives I figured I'd share here. Pluses: - Quite nice having higher quality, stereo audio recording integrated with HD video recording. In the past, I used a Tascam DR-1 (handheld digital recorder) with a Sony Cybershot (DSC-HX5 model), then married up the audio and video in Sony Vegas software.
Great product (now discontinued) but not for everyone.

Summary: I had been wanting to try one of these for a long time and when I went to buy one they were discontinued and no longer being sold. I bought a refurbished one and it fits my needs perfectly. I got another one in mint condition off Ebay for savings, so have two now. As a point and shoot video camera for the average person its not a good choice. You have to look down at the screen to see what you're shooting and so you're shooting from waist level.
Summary: Can the LS-20M broadcast live (via 3G, 4G or wi-fi) WITHOUT a pc like the Sony Bloggie Live or your cell phone can? If so, can the user select their choice of sites (YouTube, Livestream, U-stream, etc etc) or are they restricted to a specified website (like Qik if you buy the Sony Bloggie Live)?
Summary: I was looking for a video camera under $400 and settled on a couple of options but when I heard about Olympus making a camera that had pro quality stereo microphones built in I had to look into it. My brother previously owned the LS-10 which captured cd quality audio by holding it up to a speaker (well as good as the speaker's audio,anyways....so I knew the audio would be good. The fact that they also allow you to capture pretty good video as well....
