Good for Outdoor

  • Summary: I use this camera on a daily basis at work. I move around a lot, in and out of a vehicle, on foot and sometimes on the run. LX2 captures just about anything I do and with the help of Looxcie Ball Cap Clip, LX2 captures just about everything I look at. Great tool for law enforcement. The camera captures everything that is happening in front of you, search of a person, vehicle, property (if used with Looxcie Ball Cap Clip), etc.

Fragile, but I still like it.

  • Summary: I had been looking for a POV video camera for awhile and decided on this. This is an interesting device. You can use it as a standard bluetooth earpiece to talk on your cell. You can talk on the phone and record audio/visual at the same time. 30 second clips, super easy by the push of a button. There are also some apps for that. One app lets you live stream through your smartphone to anyone registered at Looxcie Live.

First impressions

  • Summary: I'll review this in two parts: the device, and the applications. DEVICE The device itself (not the apps) does exactly what it says. It records well. It records in a loop and you can grab clips by pressing a button, or you can review the entire buffer later, and extract clips ad hoc. It can also send a clip to youtube, facebook, twitter or by email, if you hold the same button for a few seconds. That's great. My wife loves it, and I think it's pretty amazing.

Fun little device

  • Summary: I really enjoy using the Looxcie 2. An organization I am a part of raffled one off, and it created quite a buzz. We all had a chance to play around with it, and I had to buy one after seeing it (clearly I didn't win the raffle). Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the audio and video; however, there's no denying that HD would be nice. That being said, I tend to use the 320p setting to save battery life, and it works great.
