Summary: I got a great price, I don't think it was used much. I updated the firmware and software and was making videos in no time. It is small and easy to use, the only thing was the recording light, a bright red glowing light interfering with unwanted reflections, a bandaid covered it.
Summary: I can't believe Kodak is not making this camera any more. My institution, like others, continues to purchase them because of the good picture quality, external microphone jack, and SD flash card memory. Still love it.
Summary: This HD cam rocks! I've been using it for 11 months and it has never once failed me! It takes amazing HD video and takes great pictures. I LOVE THE MACRO SETTING!! It's so simple to use too! I have been telling so many people about this thing.
Summary: Ive tried other 'mini' camcorders before and could never find one that could deliver outstanding picture quality to compliment its convenient small size. With my Disney World vacation fast approaching, I started looking for a new camcorder late last month to replace my Cannon Hi8 digital.
Summary: This camera is excellent, without question. If you've been the video person for all your events through the years, do NOT look any further than the Zi8. It has everything you need to be a pro-am videographer.
Summary: I'll make it a short story: Needed an affordable camera with an external mic. Kodak is the only one, so I gave it a try. (I own the Flip, but it doesn't have external mic option.) The quality of the video and sound with the external mic is amazing.
Summary: Good things: 1080p or 720p (option for 720p 60 fps or 30 fps), Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), easy to use, good image quality, external mic jack (haven't used yet but nice feature), small, good still shots (5 megapixel), good battery life.
Summary: This is perfect, it was just what I was looking for. My grandson plays multiple sports and I try to make every game, my old camcorder was so bulky and awkward and the tapes didn't fit anything I had to show them on. With this I can record from the memory card right onto a DVD disk, it's perfect.
