Excerpt: For my last birthday my wife got me a new video camera, which I had been wanting for awhile. She bought me a Kodiak Zi8 Pocket Video Camera. It's an Aqua-Blue color. The video captures up to 1080p HD Resolution, and the image quality is pretty darn good for a small camcorder. It came with a removable, rechargeable battery, SD Card Slot, bundled composite and HDMI cables, eternal mic jack, strong low-light performance, which is awesome!
Fun camera but wished I would've held out for a bigger one.

Excerpt: This was a combination birthday (for me) and Father's Day (for him) gift for the whole family. Being an avid videographer, I used my Canon digital video camera until the day it just could give no more and I had been going without for quite some time. Blogging and YouTube were suffering, so we took the plunge. I'm a Mac geek and love using iMovie, and had never had a full HD camera before. First of all, the quality of the pictures are out of this world, and the ease...
Excerpt: I have had this for just over a year now and am pretty happy with it. Video quality isnt the best, but it is great for an affordable pocket camcorder. The 720, 60fps option is nice to have for smoother video. The menu and buttons are very simplified for ease of use that anyone who has never used this would be able to use this without trouble within minutes. battery life has been good and battery still has not gone bad after a year of use.
Excerpt: I purchased this from Best Buy. It has great video quality. For the price, it's amazing! The camera includes both composite & HDMI cables which is a great value. The Macro Mode enables to capture the objects very closely. The Build is very nice. Metallice finish gives rich look. I had shortlisted Zi8 and Zx3. Looking at the finish, i went ahead with Zi8. I tried all the modes to capture video. The 720 and 30fps produces best quality video.
Excerpt: Got the camcorder and absolutely love it. It is very easy to use and I love the color ( I picked rasberry). It is almost the size of my cell phone so it is very portable. The only thing I didn't like about it was for me, since I am not tech savy, it was very difficult to upload the video onto my computer. I chatted on the Kodak website for a while and loved doing that. They were very patient. My nephew loves stuff tech stuff, so I asked him to try to figure it out. ...
Excerpt: I purchased this because my other cameras were malfunctioning and not high definition. I was going on a trip, so I'd figure it was a good deal and I would give it a try. It was $170 for the camera plus a free $40 HCSD card; that's a pretty good deal. The quality of the camera is great, being that is very small (but not too small that you can't take a hold of it properly) and easily fits in your pocket (front or back).
Excerpt: I got this Zi8 camera about 6 months ago to use to capture family moments while on the go. The camera itself is pretty easy to use and is small enough to fit into your pocket. Its pretty durable though just recently the lense cover came off but I just re-glued it on and everything works fine. It has a HDMI output which makes it very easy to plug into my LCD TV and instantly playback movies, which is a ton of fun when making home videos with my son.
Excerpt: I bought this last year since I hated carrying around a bulky camcorder. I did alot of research and for the quality and the price it was a good deal. Owning in almost a year now, I enjoy taking it with me alot. It works great for videos, and very clear picture quality and sound. The main problem is that it works terrible in dark lighting. There is no area where you can put on a flash.
