Summary: In a world of iphone and galaxy camera phones, it is nice to have a camera that can be submerged in water. Aside from that, it does pretty much what a phone with a few apps could do. If your wife is like my wife then downloading is an issue, so this lets me switch out cards so my phone isn't overloaded with videos.
Solid, very portable medium/high performance camcorder
7 March 2012
Summary: This is a great buy if you want to get HD shooting capability at a low price. The case is very rugged, and the unit just feels solid overall. I've beaten up mine pretty good since I bought it used and it just keeps going. You can shoot in 5 different modes. WVGA,720P @ 30 frames per second, 720P @ 60 fps, and 1080P @30 fps. 1080P looks really nice, but you'll want to use 720P@60 fps when you are recording a lot of fast movement.
Excerpt: Battery life is okay. Last about 90 minutes of continuous recording. Menu and buttons not that easy to use. Only icons. No wording to guide you. Lovely video. I have not tried to record under water, but it held up well in a heavy mist.
Conclusion: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Pros: Can film undetected, Easy to Use, Fits in your back pocket, Fits in your pocketbook, Good Image Stabilization, Great Picture Quality, Great price, Great Sound, Instant playback, Large Clear LCD, No Slip Grp
Excerpt: The price cannot be at par with top-notch features even starting with the megapixel but there is a great technique to take great pictures with this camera. You have to aim it with proper lighting in that way your pictures will not look so dim even if the resolution is not outstanding. For the price you are getting a water-proof gadget so I think it surpass all other pitfalls. Perhaps for amateur, this can be a good choice.
