Summary: I purchased this item because a friend of mine had one and he was very happy with it. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but good. It worked for one day. Somehow the water got into the system. We let it dry for a day, nothing. Two days, nothing. Three days of drying did not work. I am happy for Amazon's return policy.
Summary: I purchased this camera to take on vacation. It would not charge at all so we didn't even get a chance to see if the camera was any good. I had to give it a one on the rating, but that was because I had to so I could post this review. Amazon was great with the refund process!
Summary: We bought this Kodak Playsport Zx3 back in March to take videos of our grandkids at the beach, the parks and on special holidays. About being used about 20-30 minutes each use in 4 different sessions-it now refuses to "turn on". It might as well be a 200.00 boat anchor. We bought all the accessories, extra charger, extra battery, and larger SD card. BEWARE!
Don't buy it unless you want an expensive paper weight right after the warranty is up in a year

Summary: Had this product for just over a year. I stored it for the last three months and when I went to turn it on it would not turn on. The light would not go on when charging either so I tried charging it by USB to computer and had the same results. Both times the battery got warm so I am assuming it actually charges. I finally charged the battery in an external charger that showed it was charged up and still with a charged battery the unit will not turn on.
Waste of Money - Do not Buy rating - Owned camera for 5 months
Lucky 13, Amazon

Summary: We purchased the camera for our trip to So California in August 2010. We have had the camera for 5 months. The video camera worked great recording the roller coaster rides. The video turned out sharp. Pictures on it are not great, better than some phone cameras. Waterproof setting is annoying to get to. It is not waterproof all the time, you have to go into settings and change it per session. The camera reverts back to default settings once it is powered off.
Summary: I had really high hopes for this camera after reading so many positive reviews. I am leaving on vacation soon and wanted a small camcorder to take in addition to my fujifilm s100 digital camera. When the first one of these arrived, I anxiously waited for the battery to charge so I could take some video and get use to the features. I shot 3 videos (1 in each mode) of the same subject matter, my husband sitting on the bed with a black comforter on it.
Summary: Used camera once before it quit working. Used Kodak on-line help who said to send it in for repair. Camera was determined to be unrepairable. Kodak customer service said since I had sent the camera for repair (what they told me to do), I was not eligible for a new camera but only a re-conditioned camera. Will not ever buy a Kodak product again.
Summary: Mine lasted less than 5 minutes and is being returned. I have no idea how good or bad the video quality is, nor do I know if the audio is any good - if it worked beyond the first photo and the meagre 12 seconds of video it could store on internal memory I might have some input, but it didn't. That's rather a shame, because I think I got quite a nice video of my 3-year-old jumping into the pool.
Summary: Playsport file format is .mov which is Apple. Nowhere is the product desciption does it state this.I bought the camera to analyze my golf swing. My analysis software will play anything but .mov. I loaded four different .mov to .avi file converting programs and none of them could convert the files at 720p/60fpm without pixelating and condensing the files to 30fps. Quicktime, which is Apple, couldn't run the original files without herks and jerks.
