The Kodak PlaySport Zx3 is a video camera that is powered by a 1 / 2.5–type 5 MP CMOS sensor that records up to 1080p videos and 36mm still capture. It has 4X digital zoom, electronic image stabilization, a 2.0 inch display, 128 MB internal memory, SD/SDHC card expansion slot, 39.4 inch (100 cm) focusing range, which balance, monaural microphone, USB 2.0 interface, AV out and HDMI interface. The unit is powered by a KODAK Li-Ion rechargeable digital camera battery KLIC-7004, measures 2.3 × 4.4 × 0.8 inch and weighs 128 g without battery. The Kodak PlaySport Zx3 comes with an adapter and cable for charging, HDMI and AV cables, wrist strap, User Guide and ARCSOFT MEDIA IMPRESSION Software for Kodak (on-camera).

The Kodak PlaySport Zx3 it a water resistant video camera that can be used 10 ft under water and records in full 1080p HD. It also features built-in image stabilization, and supports 5 MP still image capture in 16:9 widescreen HD format. The unit also features LCD Glare Shield feature that gives users two filters to choose from that help them see tgeir subject on the display screen in reflective outdoor situations (filters are only applied to display screen, not actual footage)l smart face tracking technology, low-light image capture function, and lets users share their recording/images on FACEBOOK, YouTube, and TWITTER sites with its built-in software and USB cable. It comes with complimentary HDMI cable that lets users upload their videos or watch them on a big screen, add a voice-over to narrate footage when editing on a PC, add pictures and music to videos and grab and edit still images from video frames.
