Summary: The pictures on this camera are not first class quality. They appear blurry not clear at all, must be well lighted area not good indoor pictures a out door camera. This would be ideal for a child to take pictures.
Summary: Very good small size but cheaper plastic than others. Battery doesnt last too long. Picture quality is on the poor side although sound is average. For the price paid its ok and I wont feel terrible if the kids break it. Good to have in the purse.
Summary: I was looking for a small video camera that could take "quick" videos without all the fuss. Well, Amazon.com sent an e-mail with the "sale of the century"...the camera was $29.99. What a deal! I read a few reviews and decided to take a chance. I like that the camera is compact...but there were no instructions with the camera...yes there was a one page very vague instructional sheet but nothing else. So you had to "toy" with the camera to figure out the features.
Summary: I love the size of this camera, the concept is great! The problem I had and still have is my HP computer will NOT recognize the software in the camera. I've spent over $250 on HP support and the problem still exists! I'm not happy with that at all. If I use the SD Card only, I can transfer the videos, the USB will not work. When the battery runs out I'll be out of luck! Kodak refuses to say it's the camera's fault, and HP can't fix it.
Summary: I got this for my 4 yr old to take pics/vids. The quality is much better than the "kid" cameras available. She could work the camera well, but one unfortunate drop caused the power button to stop working and the battery drained and will no longer charge. I don't blame Kodak, but be aware that this cam isn't tough.
Summary: This is an inexpensive camera and you get what you pay for I guess. No sound, really. You have to know how to use it w/ a computer b/c the instructions are not clear or descriptive. It only connects to a laptop, which you dont find out til you buy it.
Summary: I like the ease of use and being able to switch from taking photos to videos. However, the software is hard to figure out (I just gave up & copy the pictures and videos onto my hard drive manually. It does not let you get a snapshot from a video like my Flip camera software does. The camera is really TOO small to be handy, IMO. The usb plug on this camera is hard to extract, which you must do to connect it to your pc.
Summary: I would say the picture/video quality is acceptable for a very compact camera. Its not going to shoot anything amazing but you don't have to carry around a regular camera, so it has its advantages. The major disadvantage is the bottom of the camera to attach to a pc, the latch gets in the way of the usb connnection and its clumsy, then to latch the bottom back up takes way more effort than should be necessary. Its very frustrating.
Summary: I have been on the look out for a great, small easy to carry around GOOD QUALITY video camera and this one just doesn't fit the bill. It IS small and it does carry well and I DO like that it's waterproof, but other than that, the video and camera quality are not that great. My phone takes just about the same quality.
