Poor Image Quality, returned

PAG, Amazon

  • Summary: I had high hopes about the video quality. No tape for me, I just put my last tape cam on eBay. It did sell. So, I started with the JVC. There are many things I liked about this camera. Easy to set up, light, responsive. I used it on a tripod, and took footage at dusk (very poor), and in bright sunlight (better). It seemed impossible to get sharp video. As a comparison, I shot video with my Nikon P90, and ithe video was better. So, now I am buying the Canon Vixia ($600).

Everio cheerio

  • Summary: JVC GZ-MS100EK Slim SD Flash Memory Camcorder With Konica Minolta Lens (35x Optical Zoom) with easy upload to YouTube Having had this product for nearly a year all I can say is I wish instead of Everio I could say 'cheerio'! What a regret! First I had to change my wonderful Mac Powerbook to an expensive Vista laptop because of the file extensions .mod .mov, then to cap it all Windows software would not handle it, so I had to buy Power Director.
