Question: JVC GZ-MS100 Editing footage

Can anyone help? I bought the above mentioned camcorder for my son. We are having trouble converting the recording format (mpeg 2) to a format that can be read by windows movie maker for editing. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

    There are many affordable programs that you can get to recode videos to different formats. There is a free one I use called Quick Media Converter from CocoonSoft, you can try that one out..
