Features

The JVC GZ-HM1 is part of the company’s 2010 Everio line that features advancements in low light capabilities and image stabilization, and supports a new auto recording feature and time lapse recording. The camcorder is powered by JVC’s new Super LoLux low-light sensitivity to capture images in low-light environments. This technology is made possible by a back-illuminated CMOS sensor and a high-sensitivity 1/6” CCD sensor. Designed with dual SD/SDHC card slots for continuous, uninterrupted recordings, the JVC GZ-HM1 also supports Advanced Image Stabilizer that ensures steady images even while walking, and is optimized to shoot bright scenes from full wide to 5x zoom; Time-Lapse recording in one- to 80-second intervals which enables hours-long segments to be reduced to seconds; Auto record which automatically initiates recording when a person or other moving subject enters the picture and the luminance changes; and file sharing application Everio MediaBrowser software for Windows® which provides automatic conversion of HD and SD videos for immediate sharing on YouTube™. Files can also be directly exported to iTunes® and synced with an iPod® or iPhone®, or burned to DVD via this application; and Face Flow Thumbnail, which displays thumbnails from a particular section of a video by automatically selecting and zooming into human faces.
