Summary: Image Quality: Fair. Ok at the widest angle, but deteriorates the father you zoom. Auto WB is crap. 40x Optical zoom: Crap. Loses focus not long after exceeding 30x. Image Stabilization: Fair, but becomes unstable at longer zoom ranges. No match for Sony or even Panasonic. Low light capability: Crap, but no low budget camcorder does this well. Battery life: Fair. I've never shot with it continuously, but you can probably go 3 hours if you just shoot on and off.
Fine if you are just going to shoot outdoors in daylight

Summary: I was hoping that camcorder technology had moved ahead enough since the last time I purchased a camcorder (2007) that spending $800-$1000 was not necessary in order to get decent image quality in normal, indoor lighting conditions. Sadly, this turned out not to be the case. Video image quality indoors is very grainy; footage looks like I shot it with a camera phone.
Summary: I bought this camcorder because it has was in my price range and a couple extra features such as wifi and touch screen. I wasn't looking for anything fancy I just wanted to shoot some videos edit them and be able to post them. Well I have been unable to do any of this besides record the video. The touch screen is crap.
Summary: Over the past 25 years I have been very pleased with my purchases of JVC video cameras. In fact, my first JVC purchased in 1986 still works today. Unfortunately, I must give a failing mark to my most recent JVC purchase—the JVC 1.5 Megapixel 1080P High-Definition Everio Digital Camera GZ-EX210—I have returned it.
Nice quality picture - bad file format and software.

Summary: I wanted an HD camera with good sound. This looked like it will do the trick. It did - until after I used it and tried to put the files on my computer. They are in a file-format that you cannot use in most popular programs, you have to use theirs in the software that comes with it. The software was horrible. After a lot of downloading converters and such, I was able to finally convert the file to use in my Windows DVD Movie Maker program and still keep it HD.
