Summary: Very nice little camera. It fits in the palm of your hand. The only thing I don't like about it is the video format. It's not an mpeg file so you can't plug and play from the SD card. You have to have the software that supports the file.
Summary: Well, I liked it for over 3 years. Reasonable price and did everything I wanted. I really liked the ease of downloading to YouTube. BUT, it recently quit working. The LCD screen is very dark and renders it useless. I have $ in extra battery, and memory card. As I am shopping for a new camera I do not even consider another JVC. Perhaps 3 years is all you should expect for a $220 video camera. Too bad.
Summary: Video quality is excellent and everything works perfectly for the first six months, with the exception of the battery life of 30 minutes. Now for the problems. This camera has a very, very cheap build quality and the interchangeable battery started falling out 6 months after purchasing it. I have had it now for nearly 9 months and SD Card slot keeps getting stuck. Unless you need a temporary camera do not buy.
It's ok if you don't care too much about HD and long battery life.

Summary: its an ok camera, still useful, has no mic in, touchscreen is good enough, zoom is optical 40x pretty nice, main problem is the sensor is 1.5mp not 2.07 so its not really 1080p and when i started making videos i realized thats the reason why the quality is not as good as other cameras. its not that bad but i bough another cam with a mic in and 2.07mp sensor after doing more research. my fault.
Summary: I had purchased a JVC camcorder that I really liked but after upgrading my OS didn't like talking to my laptop. So I purchased this one. It does great for the quality of picture, BUT the battery MIGHT last 1/2 hour. that's right 30 mins of recording and it dies. If you are able to keep it plugged in, you should be okay, but not if you are at an event and trying to record that event you will lose your recording ability after 30 mins.
Summary: I decided to upgrade from an sd camcorder to an HD camcorder. Since the E200 had the features I was looking for and the price was right, I purchased it. The video is extremely sharp, and the zoom works great. I did upgrade thebattery as the standard battery is only good for about 40 minutes. Now, as to the bad. After installing the supplied software and shooting a short video, I used the editing software.
Summary: So when I bought this, I couldn't wait to get it in the mail, but after a month of having it, I can honestly say that, well I got what I paid for. First off, if you watched the infomercial for this camcorder, they made it sound like, you couldn't get a better camera if you tried, unfortunately, they're wrong.
Summary: this is a really good camera. HD and has great sound.. only annoying part about it was that if you own a computer with windows vista or lower, you cannot view your files.. only through the default program that comes in the camera.. but the program is really annoying and is slow. also, in order to actually save the footage on to your computer, you must render through the program... such a pain..
Summary: The first camcorder was defective, which can happen I guess. After recording some test video, there was very little sound, even with the sound turned completely up. I checked with JVC and they wanted me to hook the camera up to the TV. My thought if the video was suppose to have sound when viewed on the camcorder, and it didn't, I was returning it. Returns are always so easy with Amazon. I reordered another of the same model and the second camera works appropriately.
Summary: It's just a OK camcorder. Not as good as the GZ HM300. Poor sound but good low light performance. The GZ HM300 lacks low ligtht performance but is much better in all other aspects and superior in day light recording and sound quality. Go for the JVC GZ HM300 even if refurbished, it's a much better camcorder.
