Summary: Well I m happy with this camcorder. only point im not agree is about the model cause the correct model is JVC-GYHD100 NOT JVC-GYHD100U ,but after that little detail its a excellent product and thanks.
Still a great value for the price and a good camera in the 720p zone.

Summary: I have only used this camera one time to date, but so far I have found it to be up to par with many of the newer cameras. We bought this camera to do live event streaming broadcast and on our first broadcast it did not fail and lived up to our expectations.

Summary: I purchased this camera for producing professional video. At first I was really not sure as this is a type style (DVHD Mini) recorder. Its features are extensive and the quality of the glass is just flat outstanding! Ease of use is somewhat difficult at first. Understanding the plethora of settings in this camera are a challenge but the benefits outweigh the learning curve. This unit is heavy and large be ready for it. A very heavy duty tripod is highly recommended.
Summary: This is an outstanding professional video camera. This will give you so much flexibility in your video productions. This unit is heavy and at first somewhat difficult to learn as it has so many options to enhance your finished project. Once you learn the many set-up menu options you will be pleased with its performance. I would recommend Anton Bauer Battery system and to make it the complete unit the Focus DTE recorder.
Summary: I bought this camera with the intension of receiving a great HD Camera. I was a little unsure about this purcahse because I did not know a lot about the model. But after doing some reserch i found that it had all the feature I was looking for. I must say that the service from the seller is exceptional and quite efficient. They even included extra batteries which came in handy at the times when I needed them.
Summary: Not much to dislike. Everything on cam or about cam is straight forward. Although JVC GY HD100 is discontinued via manufacturer, parts are still available but are pricey. Adaptable lens are REALLY expensive. If you can get by with the Fujicon 16X lens then you are definitely ahead of the price game. The resale value is still strong on cams that are mildly used. The interval overhauls and factory servicing again can be pricey. All-in-all it is a good cam for 2k.
