Summary: I have had this camcorder since 2007 and it has worked well all these years. I prefer this type of a model verses the non view finder HD camcorders they make today. I alo prefer the videos that this one produces verses the low quality videos produced by Smart Phones.
Summary: I purchased a JVC mini DV camcorder (750) and it worked wonderfully until after 3 yrs. the motor quit and I paid $50 to have it serviced only to find out it would cost $283 to repair, which is a little more than I originally paid for it!
Summary: I bought this model in May of 2007. It worked exceptionally well for two years. Transferred footage with no problem to the computer and it's been great to have. It is now July of 2009 and two weeks ago I started to get a burnt out pixel in my recordings.
Summary: I have had multiple issues with this camcorder. It was used a total of less than 60 minutes and then put away for several months (inside the air-conditioned house). Now the screen no longer works; it won't record videos; and the DV connector to transfer what little footage I have doesn't recognize...
Summary: I like the 2 connection feature, USB and Fire wire. You cannot always find a Fire Wire connection, but USB is usually available. Easy function on replay.Decent battery life. Good over all quality.
Summary: I bought this a few months ago, and ended up putting it on eBay. Don't get me wrong, it was a good little camcorder. But I didn't like it as much as my Sony Handycam HI8 which was much older. It had lots of features according to the guide, but was not real simple like the handy cam.
