Summary: Camera never connected to wifi. User interface is poor. General operation is difficult. Looks like their technology is in the 80s. I was not offered to buy an SM memory card, thinking the camera itself has a integrated disk, but apparently it doesn't. Instructions manual is 1 page and very little documentation online. It took me 2 hours of frustration before returning back the item. It's a shame because the concept is good, but execution is poor.
Summary: Both in a relative and an absolute sense, the video quality is awful. No offense to those who say the image quality is "great", but you must be blind. Seriously. Or you're watching the video on a really bad monitor (like a tiny 11 inch tablet screen). I second other comments about fine details like grass and leaves blurring out with even small amounts of motion, and the distortion on either side of the image is nausea-inducing (and I didn't get sick watching "The Blair...
Summary: Camera has a leg up on design mounting menus etc however it has a very poor image quality with tons of jello effect even during the most mild of activity like walking can't imagine getting usable video in any action shots... Returned it..
Got water damaged in the swimming pool. What waterproofing?

Summary: At first I liked this camera. Took it snowboarding, the standard mounting holes meant it works with helmet mounts, suction cup mounts, you name it. Freezeproof, shockproof, waterproof... worked great. The mobile app could be improved though. I was always apprehensive about the primitive waterproofing seal, but I just had faith. A month after purchase, just as a laugh, I took it for swim in the swimming pool. Just a standard swimming pool, where you can stand up easily.
Summary: Buy something else until the WiVideo is software is fixed so that the camera will work with your iPhone (the primary reason I bought it). All the reviewers out there that extolled the virtues of this camera simply took the talking points and wrote them up without testing adequately. The WiVideo software DOES NOT work with your iPhone or Mac. It does work with a Windows system. I bought the EGO instead and am very satisfied with it (it's cheaper, too).
Summary: I hate to say it but I don't think the ADIXXION was finished when JVC put it on sale, it almost feels like they rushed it to market to compete with the GoPro2, Contour+2, and Sony Action Cam. For me the WiFi was a big selling point, I plan to use this camera mounted in a remote location and being able to stop and start it from my phone is a big plus, however it has been hit or miss.
Summary: I bought this camera hoping that the simple case, wifi ability, and water proof features would be a GoPro step up but was sorely disappointed. Im fairly tech saavy and still cant get the wifi streaming to work to my iPad. The video quality is poor/moderate compared to Gopro due to the small aperture on the JVC lens. The camera feels fragile and has started to occasionally shut down without warning. All in all, no good.
Video Fair, Audio Horrible, Durability Questionable

Summary: I've had this camera for one month and I'm returning it. I have a detailed video review with sample footage out on Youtube which unfortunately is way too long for Amazon's restrictions, but you should be able to find it if you search for: "w469o3CkiCw" or "JVC Adixxion Action Camera Review GC-XA1". Brief summary: The video isn't as good as I'd like. Up close, it's crisp and clear but anything distant is fuzzy as is anything in motion.
