Resolution and File Format - Things You May Want to Know

Summary: Here are some things you should know about this camcorder: This camera does not shoot in "1920 x 1080 full hi-def recording resolution." This camera shoots in standard definition. The actual resolution is 854 x 480. Amazon mislabeled it and that should be corrected. This camera saves it's video to a built-in internal memory that can be supplemented by inserting your own SD memory card.
Summary: I love it, it's small and light and takes moderate video despite not being an HD camcorder. Audio is very crisp and loud. I like all the built in storage, although i bought a memory card just so i can take some longer videos. I would have rated it 5 stars, but when i bought this from SaveCentral it didnt come with the original battery but some other kind that has to be plugged in via a cord that already looks like it's had some damage around the base.
Summary: This was a return and reorder. The first one I purchased was sold as new, but came with mismatched manual and accessories. Took a leap of faith and ordered a used one from a different vendor (EZCORP). Everything it came with was correct. It shows no sign of previous usage. After getting to know it a little better, I believe it will suit my casual needs very effectively.
Summary: Works great and is easy to use and carry. It is very light weight but performs really well. Has a good set of features but the file format is a little unusual, but can be dealt with by finding the right file converter. Plenty of zoom, almost too much in some situations.
Summary: The camcorder is ok but my problem is that you can not find a DVD burner to transfer your movies onto like most of your JVC camcorder. The camcorder is otherwise ok, but I gave it a low raiting because the seller told me that the camcorder was brand new but when I turned the camcorder on the previous family who had onced owned the camcorder had 3 years of family videos still stored in the camcorder, not to mentioned the owner of the camcorder or somebody recorded some...
Summary: The software on this thing is impossible to use on my end and I am NOT computer illiterate. I actually am pretty good with technology, but I struggle with this thing. I bought a memory card for it also and, for some reason, the camera doesn't recognize it. It is the right size and I even had an employee in an electronics store assist me and they couldn't get it to work either. So, I'm stuck using the internal memory on the camera which is very small.
