Great camera, but getting the videos to a computer is AWFUL
6 July 2012
Summary: The camera works fine and takes good videos. The problem, as mentioned by other reviewers, is getting the videos off of the camera and onto a computer. You have to use the Everio software which is among the worst software I have ever seen. In addition to being realy slow, I have yet to find a way to upload an individual video to my PC (not iTunes or YouTube). The only way to upload is to upload everything that is on the camera.

Summary: THE CAMCORDER ITSELF WAS AVERY BAD EXPERIENCE,PROBABLY BECAUSE WHEN PURCHASE WAS ALLREADY USED AND WASN'T TOLD ABOUT IT HAD PASS ELECTRONIC TECHNICAL ISSUES!!!!ESPECIALLY THE VERY SHORT LIFE OF BATTERY USE DIES VERY QUICKLY AND THE FOCUS OF FACE DETECTIONS WAS VERY BAD!!!!!
Summary: Small and sleek, great picture quality and sound. The 40x zoom is amazing, I could read the small print on signs about half of a block or more away. Easy to use, you just open the viewing screen and it turns on automatically. Very user friendly. I have upgraded from a disc recording camcorder, and the hard drive on this JVC is so convenient. We bought it for our church to record preaching services. It's a great tool.
Summary: I was looking for a camcorder which had multiple features: Good playback qualities on computer or TV, sharp pause and slow motion features, a good size camera screen for instant viewing, and especially... an analog connector, allowing me to attach to an underwater camera, and then have the ability to connect to the computer or TV screen. This product had all of the features. I am very pleased with the purchase.
Summary: I had bought the JVC Everio GZ-MG670 80GB HDD Camcorder (Black) at a great price. I even received it in a few days which was much faster than predicted... The camera its self is great. Easy to use and in about 15 minutes of playing around with it figured out how to use everything.. Its very comfortable and lightweight. I did have a problem when I received mine. After a few phone calls to JVC Support they said I had to send mine in for repair.
