Summary: My daughter has the GZ-MG27 and found it to be an excellent camera. This camera has slightly less zoom but otherwise pretty much the same. Very compact. A larger battery can be found on Ebay at very low price.
Summary: Nice little camera that I can trasfer the video to DVD, store it or send it by email. The only drawback thyat I found was the battery life. Only one hour when the camera can run for up to four. Buying a secong GOOD baterry can kind of solve the problem.
Summary: Doing amateur video productions, years ago I purchased several of the Everios, and let a salesman convince me to buy the final camera as a Sony. Recognize I am a diehard Sony fan. But the Everio wins. Buying an extended life battery, you'd be surprised how long you can keep filming.
Summary: I have had this camcorder for about 1 1/2 year. It still works great and I used it all the time. I am a private investigator and I prefer using this camcorder over any other that I own and have had in the past. It works excellent and has great video quality.
Summary: The 5 main reasons I purchased this camcorder: 1) Size. It's barely larger than a can of soda!!! 2) Hard drive. Nice not to not ever have to buy blank tapes or discs. 3) Ease of use. The controls are well designed. Had most everything figured out in no time.
Pretty good camera for trips, you need a better battery though

Summary: The quality is awesome, the ergonomics is just super (the four way stick in the LCD for starters), the transfer capabilities are nice (just plug it in to ANY PC and it becomes an external hard drive with video files, although you have to rename the .MOD to .MPG), and the zoom/frame rate is great.
Summary: I bought this camera and I just love it. Forget about the issues some people mention here about low quality video, the trick is to change the camera settings for the environment you are recoding in.
Tiny camcorder... Big HDD... Easy functions... = 5 Stars!

Summary: Ok, I bought this for a Christmas present for my wife and she loves it. The first thing you notice is how small it is... I mean it's tiny! When I first heard about these I checked for reviews on them and the two sites I found reviews on both had mediocre scores.
