Summary: I bought this camera before going on a recent cruise with the intention of documenting my trip through video. This is a great camcorder for making home videos. I took video during some of the shows that I went to on the cruise and the audio quality was fantastic.
Summary: A good camcorder but quality of video image not quite as good as DV tape, even in good light. Low light capabilities also not as good,, even with gain up - the lenses in the better Everio units with the 15x zoom may be better in this regard.
Really like it. But important to read the instructions.

Summary: Just got this camera recently. I'd read a number of reviews suggesting the image quality wasn't too hot, but thought I'd give it a try as I'm really tired of trying to keep track of all the little tapes I've accumulated over the years.
Summary: First off, I want to say that the camera shoots pretty good footage outdoors, not at all superb quality, but passable for just archiving personal footage. Indoors is another story, out of the box the low-light conditions pretty much blacked out the playback.
Summary: When we received the camera, it had been previously used. We were initially given a run-around, but Amazon gave us a good discount on the camera that made us happy. They couldn't replace it with a new one. The camera seems to have a sharp picture and excellent sound. It is amazingly small.
Summary: Our 1st camcorder! Ever! I was planning to get a DVD camcorder, but this one was on sale for the same price & I was happy not to buy endless DVD's. Also, I saw the reviews were good. My 14 yr old was able to use it straight out of the box - it's soooooo easy!
Pros: Easy to use, good recording, lightweight, price only £250
Cons: Smallish LCD screen, have to use their editing software, not sure if it's robust.
Excerpt: Having paid for an incredible Honeymoon, an extra £380 at the airport for a hard drive camcorder seemed a small cost to capture all our memories. Overall, we are very happy with the camera, not that it doesn''''''''''''''''t have certain faults. But HDD camera are new.
Pros: Not only do you not have the expense of buying tapes and the hassel of storing them, but you can record at any time knowing that you won''''t lose previously recorded footage, you have immediate access to everything you have recorded so far. Every start and stop in record mode is a new file and t...
Cons: So onto the gripes and there are two important ones. The first is the lack of an image stabilizer. Despite this being common on cheaper tape units, it is noticable absent here. The result is visable shaking on normal shooting, but when you start using the 25x zoom - forget it, the chance of your ...
Summary: Tenemos problemas para guardar los videos.
