Very nice, very capable, needs a far more robust battery

Summary: This unit is superb. I have no complaints about it other than the batteries you can buy for it are really lacking the power required for them to be truly compatible with the unit. This seems to be a pervasive problem in the camcorder market regardless of the manufacturer involved. To clarify the situation, there are two batteries you can buy for this unit.
Summary: I have not used much this camcorder but I think this is a good item compare to price. Features are ok compare to price and which are easy to understand and operate. It would be better if it has attached lens cover instead of separate....as there are chances of loosing it.
Summary: I did a bit of research before settling on this camcorder. My requirements were that it had to be HD, and it had to have a large internal hard drive as I did not want to be buying and fumbling with memory cards all the time. This camera fit the bill and for a price substantially less than competitors. It isn't the most fully featured camera, but then again some of the features of the higher priced cameras are things like "night shot".
Summary: I've been very happy with this purchase. I spent 299.00 on it and I was the best possible price for the camera. The main reason we bought it was it's performance in low light and It has lived up to the billing. My only complaints are that the controls are a little tough on the wrist and there is no string to keep the lense cover attached to camera while in use.
Summary: This camera was an awesome deal. The video quality is amazing. The sound is also very good. It picks up voices very clearly and the wind reduction feature helps keep the audio clear. The only two things that need improvement is that the still image quality is not great and the video does not look good in low light conditions. Since there is no light on the camera, you have to make sure you have plenty of lighting in the room.
Summary: I'm no expert but this camera has really impressed me. I shot high def through a sheet of dirty plexiglass to a subject some 100 feet away, with zoom, and the picture turned out perfectly. It's great!
Summary: I am a leisure video user and recently started looking for an HD camera. Most of my videos are of my kids sporting events and vacations. So, I was looking for a video camera that is relatively in-expensive, offered decent zoom capabilities with HD quality. I researched several cameras and spoke to many people about the various camera options. I settled on this one. I have only had it a couple of weeks, but am very happy with it.
Summary: No a bad entry HD camcorder. Very simple to use. Point and shoot out of the box. Uploading to my mac is very simple. 23 min gap might be annoying to most but easily fix during post production. Time laps is great. Something I look for in a camera. Chosen this camera because of the Minolta Lens. Also my Lensbaby Tele and Wide angle attachment fits perfectly. Generally I would use my DSLR for all still shots.
