Excellent buy

nasticanasta, Ebay

  • Summary: I had a non HD JVC Everio, I wanted an upgrade and this was a perfect fit. I like the easy menus and the full screen 1080p, it's incredible, and the 60GB HDD makes this a great cam.

Brilliant Camcorder

marnie1802, Ebay
4 March 2011
  • Summary: I ordered this to replace an old camcorder - what a fab little camera. Very easy to use and transfer to PC - good battery life - super quality picture. Good price paid on ebay for product - although came with an american plug fitted but supplied with adapter. Very small and light - easy to fit into a bag. Got a hard case from Amazon to fit this particular model of camera and very pleased with product overall.

My Best Camera Ever

MusicLover "music lover", Amazon
19 December 2010
  • Summary: I really like this camera. It is so easy to use and that means a lot to someone like me. It came with everything you need to take good videos. It's not top of the line, but it does great for just your average casual home movies. I love it and highly recommend it.

Awesome Camera

Jerry Palmerino Jr, Amazon
14 December 2010
  • Summary: This camera makes a great HD camera for anyone. It is remarkably slim. I'd say it is about as thick as three decks of cards when the screen is closed. It records in the newest file format AVCHD and has a 60 GB hard drive built in. No more tapes! It also offers MicroSD expansion. At the lowest quality you can get 25 hours of video and at the highest, approximately 5 hours.

Jvc

Consumer Democracy
6 November 2010
  • Summary: Tried every competing product and the JVC was the most powerful and clearest sounding unit with the best bass response by far. The unit is portable, but it's BIG. It has a full function remote that includes all functions on the unit except control of the dual tape deck. There is a newer model out that includes this. Mine is about 4 years old and is still going strong after daily use.
  • Pros: 3-cd changer operates flawlessly, outstanding sound reproduction, great bass
  • Cons: It's a big boombox

  • Summary: I really liked the system I bought with surround sound, but about a year later I bought a JVC Stereo VCR with compulink and it was a newer version of compulink so it didn't work well with my stereo vcr that had VCR controls just for the compulink reason.Compulink was a great idea but it just has a few problems
  • Pros: cheap and bulletproof...great sound
  • Cons: compulink doesnt work as good as it should with differnt series of components

A wonderful camera

PCDuck "PCDuck", Amazon
9 July 2010
  • Summary: This is a great camera indoors or outdoors. The file format is mts which can be played in windows but you need to install "klite codec full" in order to watch the video. I have not encountered any problems for the past 8 months. If you convert it to other formats such as wmv or avi or mpeg2 the original video will lose its great quality.
