Summary: Awesome camera. Great video quality. Very wide recording area. The only bad thing I have found is that it is a bit of a process to charge it up. You have to remove the back cover to get to the plug-in, but that is probably what makes it waterproof. I bought mine and liked it so much I bought on for my brother!
Ion now just needs to open up the market with a 4k resolution Ion Pro.

Summary: Works good enough. Definitely invest in a Edutige mic for these to enhance the sound. The start and stop record is very simple, and a bonus as well for having the wifi podz to check camera angles with the ihone Ion Camera app. over all is just as good as gorpo, if not better in some ways.
Summary: No need for a Go-Pro if you have one of these. I grabbed one for a trip to Yellow Stone National Park. We planned on doing some zip-lining. I picked up the helmet/goggle mount which also worked great, all but one time and it was my fault. I did not have it securely on my helmet. While jumping of a platform, 40'-45' above the ground, I whipped my head back which caused the whole helmet mount and ION camera to fall to the ground.
Summary: One of my favorite purchases. I got it on a CNET cheaper deals. For what paid it was almost free. The video quality is great, the picture quality only so so. Use this on trips and when we have a gathering out doors. Indoor quality is good when the lighting is sufficient. For a sports action cam, this does the trick.
Summary: This camera shoots great 1080 video above water. Underwater shots are a little soft, but I expected that with the curved glass lens out front. Audio quality is great for an action cam, and really let's my videos add an important dimension. My GoPro gives very muffled sound, requiring me to add music to fill in the silence on videos. There are much fancier models available for much more money, but personally I don't need wifi or smart phone adaptability.
