Summary: I had phun in Orlando with this. "There is no fear where love exists. Rather, perfect love banishes fear, for fear involves punishment, and the person who lives in fear has not been perfected in love." 1 John 4:18
Summary: This was my first camcorder that I've bought and the price was well worth it. It's easy to use, the battery life is long, has tons of storage and takes great pictures and videos....outside. The only downfall I would say is the indoor filming.
Summary: This camera is no good in low light. In moderate light the picture fades in and out. You cannot see the lcd screen in sunlight. I'ts fine for some things but not worth the money. You are better off spending more and getting more from other moderately priced cameras
Review: HP V5060h 720p High Definition Digital Camcorder
25 February 2011
Summary: Let me start off by saying that you get what you pay for. As far as the cost, yes, it was low. However, less cost means less quality (generally). The cameras' battery does not hold a charge for very long and when I plug it in to charge, it takes over three hours to fully charge!
Summary: Hi there this is a graet HD camcorder for the price this is my first camcorder and i love it.The only thing is that the sound is not that great and filming in low lighting is not that great but i plan on attaching a LED Light. So overall its about a 4 star.Thanks.Amazon.
Summary: this item was surprisingly awesome for the money.. great video and picture quality. not the best sound but good and clear.this is a good starter camcorder for the family, easily record great memories
Summary: This is my first digital camcorder and I'm enjoying it so far. I had wanted to buy an affordable HD camcorder for parties and my hiking trips, and after looking for a while I finally settled with this model.
Summary: I suppose you get what you pay for. I saw a handful of sample vids on youtube and quality varied from outstanding to mediocre (like mine) in similar light conditions. As of this writing, HP doesn't even advertise this model on their web site, which I thought was odd.
Pros: Very affordable.
Cons: Image quality is pretty poor. Colors are washed out. Focus/image is never very crisp. Low-light recording is particularly bad with lots of artifacting and poor contrast. Touch screen isn't very sensitive - usually need to use a pen top or something to hit the very small buttons
