Excerpt: I had the Hero2 and upgraded to this newer version. The clarity of the picture is far better in low light with much less noise in the blacks. The 2.7K is also a huge improvement over 1080P. I haven't used the 4K much as 15fps is too slow for my needs.
Excerpt: I love the clarity of images and the resolution options available in the 3+.
I've been playing with this for the last 3 weeks mainly to capture tennis videos. I love the feature of controlling the camera with an app.
Overall very happy and I'd have given a 5 star except for one nagging con - GoPro could've built the tripod mount into the camera.
Pros: Easy to Use, Extremely Clear Videos, Extremely Sharp Videos, Lightweight, Multitude Of Functions, Versatile
Summary: Good little camera. Great picture quality. Sound is great with the case off. Easier to use if you have the app on your phone. You would think that all the tech put into this great little camera, they could have the best and longest lasting battery. It hates cheap SD cards. All the mounts and accessories are sturdy but and are a little pricey.
Excerpt: I've only shot a few minutes of video so far. The picture quality seems fine on 1080 and I'm glad to have all the other options in terms of resolution, FPS, time lapse, etc.
I certainly realize that the minuscule size of the camera is the very thing that makes it special in terms of all the different usage opportunities that a larger camera wouldn't allow.
