Perfect for every outdoor, underwater, sport adventures
10 December 2012
Summary: the gopro hero 2 is an excellent video camera for your outdoor adventures, use a head strap or a pole and ur set. it has a very good video and photo quality. Compare to other camcorder the hero 2 is easy to use, light, and waterproof for example which make it a great choice.
Summary: In a sunny day, the camera works perfectly...its amazin, I love it, It looks like a toy, at first its a litle hard to use, because it only has two buttoms, but after that its a doll. Great definition, but isnt macro!!! And when you use the waterproof case, the sound isnt very good.
Summary: First of all this product arrived faster than it said it would which always makes me happy. But to the matter at hand the product, I knew before buying this product that there were 3 downfalls to it. The first being there is no LCD viewer attached to it, (you have to buy it seperatly).
Summary: Had it a couple of weeks and been testing it out on cycle journys around the city. Does a good job except when facing into the low morning sun (and really any camera is in trouble in those circumstances). With the head mount its a little hard to guess quite where it is looking but a bit of trial and error means its working for me all right.
Summary: I would give 5 stars but i won't because when i went to the beach for a free surf session, the camera became fogged in less than 40 minutes of surfing. You must use some silica gel or the anti-fog stuff from GoPro inside the skeleton case for a good surf session. That's all folks!
Summary: The video quality is great, needs a little boost on picture quality. Works great while kite boarding but the waterproof case gets foggy when it is wet and gets direct sunlight. It didn't come with anti fog films nor lens.
Summary: (Update 6/6/2012) GoPro finally released the new diving case which fixes the infamous underwater focus problem with the standard waterproof case after two years of long wait for some users. The diving case will cost $49 that is a great price, but it is extra. Anyway, all my comments regarding the underwater problem should not be a concern with the new diving case.(Update 5/21/2012) I got the new diving case from GoPro.
The Camera that can boldly go where no camera has been before
24 October 2012
Excerpt: I bought this camera as a bit of a special treat due to it's price. I have used it for surfing and scuba diving and intend to use it for capturing some snowboard action once the snow hits in Europe. I have found is is taking a bit of getting used to as using it used in unusual conditions but is easy to operate and takes excellent pictures. -----Overview---- The camera is extremely small consisting of a smallblock measuring 42mm x 60mm x 30mm weighing practically nothing.
Pros: Amazingly versatile
Cons: Steams up easily, requires a lot of accessories
Summary: Help!! All you guys that have the GoPro Surf Edition....... Is this what I should buy my daughter, she is currently making music videos and they are underwater..... Is this the one for her? it will be her 18th birthday present and so really dont need it to be a disappoinment, she raves about it, but having read a few reviews I am anxious.
